Are You Forcing It... or Flowing with Strength?
I want to talk about something that's been weighing on my mind lately—something I believe is crucial for anyone looking to truly excel in life, whether it’s in business, relationships, health, or personal growth.
It’s the difference between force and strength.
See, I’ve been around the block long enough to see how people—especially in sales—think they need to force their way to success. They grind. They hustle hard. They push, they pull, they scrap for every inch. And hey, I’m not knocking hard work. There’s a time and place for the grind.
But here’s the truth: force is energy that depletes.
It’s like running with the wind in your face. You’re moving, but it’s exhausting. You’re pushing against resistance all the time.
When we operate from this place, we’re often chasing something outside of ourselves, grasping at external results, and it feels like we’re constantly in survival mode.
You can force a sale—get someone to buy because of pressure tactics or urgency. You can push a team member to hit their numbers through fear of falling behind. You can hustle your way through life.
But eventually, you’ll feel burned out, and guess what? So will the people you’re trying to lead, sell to, or influence.
Force, in my eyes, is rooted in scarcity.
It's that belief that if we don’t grind, hustle, or force the outcome, someone else will take what’s “ours.”
It’s fear-based, and that fear creates tension, both inside and out. People can feel it. They sense it in the energy you bring to the table.
And here’s where the magic happens…
There’s a higher way to operate. A stronger way.
Strength is not about how hard you push. It’s about the power that comes from within—a power rooted in abundance, leadership, and alignment.
When you operate from a place of strength, it’s like you’re running with the wind at your back. You don’t have to chase; you attract. You don’t have to manipulate; you inspire. You lead from the front with confidence, certainty, and conviction.
Strength is calm. Strength is trust. It’s knowing that what you’re creating, what you’re building, is aligned with who you are and what you stand for.
Strength doesn’t fear missing out, because it knows that the right opportunities are coming, and the right people will align with your vision. It’s trusting the process and being unshakable in your purpose.
And guess what? When you lead from strength, people feel that too.
They feel your certainty. They feel your calm. They feel your trust in yourself and the process, and that’s the kind of energy that inspires action—not just from you but from the people around you.
Your prospects feel it. Your team feels it. Your clients feel it.
The difference between force energy and strength energy is like night and day.
One leaves you drained. The other leaves you empowered.
One creates friction. The other creates flow.
And here’s the kicker: people want to buy from, follow, and learn from someone who operates from strength.
They want to be led by someone who embodies abundance, confidence, and certainty—not someone who’s trying to force them into action out of desperation.
So ask yourself today: where are you operating from force in your life and business? Where are you pushing so hard that you’re depleting yourself and others? And more importantly, how can you start shifting into strength?
If you’re constantly feeling like you’re fighting an uphill battle—whether it’s in sales, your personal goals, or your relationships—it might be time to step back and ask, “Am I forcing this?”
The beauty is, you don’t have to.
What would it look like to lean into your own inner strength, to trust in the value you bring, and to operate from a place of abundance and leadership?
What would it feel like to know that your success doesn’t depend on how hard you grind, but on how aligned you are with your purpose and vision?
I’ll tell you this—it feels damn good. And it’s something I’ve been working on myself.
I’ve had to shift from force to strength in my own life and business. It’s a process, and it doesn’t happen overnight, but the rewards are worth it.
Here’s the challenge for you today:
Step into your strength. Stop forcing it. Let go of the grind that’s draining you and start leading from the calm, confident power that’s already inside of you.
I know you’ve got it in you.
To your success and strength,
